I'm also thinking on buying gems, but I don't want to spend money if my tablet is this old and could stop working in a year or two. Would the email attached to my tablet work? If I register let's say a phone with the same email I have with my tablet, then would it ask if I would like to continue where I left off? I'm just asking because I've gotten to level 61 and I just got Spike and Dragonlord Ember, and I'd hate to lose them. If I read you right, if it breaks and I can no longer use it, if I contact Gameloft and send them my game code, they'll return it? I'm not sure what you mean by continuing where you left off because when I downloaded the app, it didn't ask for anything and it never asks for an email, so I don't know how cloud would work. Also to add if you lost your progress, you can also use your friends code to retrieve your progress back when contacting Gameloft. But if it's Android, you need to contact Gameloft support for that or unless you have a backup for Android. If your on iOS your data should be automatically transfered if you have game center earlier, but it should be there from cloud as there's an option to continue from where you left off.
